Nine university students from Canada will join a three-week-long study of Chinese language and culture in Shanghai, thanks to an education exchange program launched by Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SUTCM).
During the three weeks, students will attend Chinese language lessons, tour the city, and enjoy traditional Chinese music and martial arts performance. Teachers from SUTCM will show them TCM acupuncture and moxibustion as well as Chinese massage.
The program was launched by SUTCM’s International Education College and Canadian Chinese Language Teaching Society in 2008. Over the past seven years, students from renowned Canadian universities such as University of British Columbia and University of Victoria have joined the program.
