Q: When students who major in Chinese Medicine aiming at obtaining a minor in Acupuncture and Tuina, do they need to prolong their school period and pay extra fee?
A: Students who major in Chinese Medicine aiming at obtaining a minor in Acupuncture and Tuina shall be able to finish both within five years, thus, their study years need not to be prolonged. Under special circumstances, students can apply to prolong their academic study for one year to finish obtaining the minor in Acupuncture and Tuina.
During their academic study, bonus credits will be offered to students with good academic performance. Bonus credits can be sufficient to selected coursed required to get a minor in Acupuncture and Tuina. If students are not able to earn enough bonus credits for getting minor, they need to pay for the extra credits if they want to complete the minor in Acupuncture and Tuina.

Q: Are students allowed to transfer to another major?
A: Yes. Students are allowed to transfer to another major.
1.Students can choose to apply for either Chinese Medicine major or Acupuncture and Tuina major during their application process. Afterwards, at the third semester of the first year, they can have a second decision. At the first academic year, students of the two majors have parallel courses. Since the beginning of the second academic year, the courses of the two majors will be diverse.
2.Students can choose to apply for either Chinese Medicine(five –year undergraduate program) or Chinese Medicine(seven-year undergraduate-graduate continuous program). After entering the university an start their course for one month, they can choose again.
3.Students who are in Chinese Medicine(five –year undergraduate program) or Chinese Medicine(seven-year undergraduate-graduate continuous program) can apply for minor degree certification of Acupuncture and Tuina after they finish 28.5 credits of compulsory course study and 8 credits of clinical practice.
