Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Participated in the Education Exhibition in Albania and Turkey
From 20 to 29 September 2014， Mr. Yan Xiaotian ,dean of International Education School of SHUTCM and Ms. Luo Linna from Chinese Language Teaching Center participated the 2014 Shanghai China Education Exhibition in
Albania and Turkey. This exhibition was organized by the Shanghai Education Commission.
During the First three days, the exhibitor group stayed in Albania hosting education exhibition and exchanges. On 21 September, the exhibitor group also participated in a local education exhibition in Tirana school of economy. Mr. Yan Xiaotian spread the traditional Chinese medicine culture through the exhibitions and communication with different universities and local students, and thus gained a better understanding on the spreading and localization of Chinese culture in Albania. Soon after, the exhibitor group also paid a visit to Tirana school of science, giving a detailed introduction of SHUTCM and its major setting. After the exhibition in Albania, SHUTCM stayed in touch with Professor BlerinaHoxha from Tirana school of medicine, Both parties are expecting a long and constant cooperation with each other.
During the last four days, the exhibitor group moved their trip to Turkey for the education exhibition. The exhibitor group has met with the leaders, teachers and students in Istanbul University and IhsanMermerci middle school. On 26 September,”2014 Shanghai China Education Exhibition and Forum” was held in Bosporus university in turkey. Mr. Yan Xiaotian and his entourage introduced the general information of SHUTCM for all the consulters on that exhibition. Many students were quite interested in the summer school (Traditional Chinese Medicine Program) and the degree program in Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the end of their stay in Turkey, they participated a forum themed”Chinese Language Teaching and Studying Abroad in China”, sharing the experience in Language teaching and administration. The speech was well-received by the present guests and leaders.
